Bill Summary: HB1709

• Requires counties to obtain a reimbursement agreement with the Administrative Director of the Courts before providing security or utility services (water, electricity, gas, sewer, etc.) to the county courthouse or annexes.

• Mandates that any agreement must provide for the county to be reimbursed in full for these services before they are supplied.

• Creates a new codified section under Title 19 of the Oklahoma Statutes (Section 404) to establish this requirement.

• Effective date: November 1, 2011.
