HB1940 Summary

• Amends 2 O.S. 2001, Section 3-83 to eliminate pesticide record-keeping requirements for commercial and noncommercial applicators.

• Removes the requirement for applicators to maintain accurate records of pesticide activities, applications, and wood infestation reports at their principal business location for at least 2 years.

• Retains record-keeping requirements for restricted use pesticide dealers who must continue maintaining accurate records of purchases and sales for at least 2 years.

• Maintains the State Board of Agriculture's duty to audit record maintenance as necessary to enforce the Oklahoma Agriculture Code.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2011.
