Amends 22 O.S. 2011, Section 988.8 (Oklahoma Community Sentencing Act) to authorize courts to stay or restore Class D driving privileges for offenders successfully completing community sentencing programs.

Court may order the Department of Public Safety to stay suspensions or restore driving privileges if offender provides proof of insurance and completes community punishment terms; suspension/revocation period continues running during any stay.

Restoration of driving privileges is prohibited if the underlying license suspension is related to drug or alcohol offenses (except the offense for which community sentencing is imposed) or if offender hasn't paid reinstatement fees or met Department of Public Safety conditions.

Creates new codified section requiring electronic notification from court clerks to Department of Public Safety upon offender's successful completion of community sentencing program.

Effective date: November 1, 2012; requires Department of Public Safety to promulgate implementing rules.
