Increases dental hygienist representation on the Oklahoma Board of Dentistry from one member to three members.

Maintains eight dentist members on the Board, elected by district, and two public representative members appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate.

Updates nomination and election procedures for the new three dental hygienist positions, requiring petitions signed by at least ten licensed dental hygienists.

Allows dental hygienist members to be recalled through special election by petition of at least twenty percent of licensed dental hygienists in the state.

Becomes effective November 1, 2012.
