OK HB2565

Prohibits private employers from terminating permanent employees who are members of state or federal military forces when ordered to authorized training or duty.

Guarantees affected employees the right to return to the same employment position without loss of time, efficiency rating, vacation time, or other employment benefits.

Requires employees to provide written or actual notice of intent to return to employment as soon as practicable after release from duty.

Creates new codified section 44-209.1 of Oklahoma Statutes.

Effective date: November 1, 2012.
