HB2572 Summary

• Beginning January 1, 2014, owners of mobile or manufactured home parks with ten or more rental units must ensure homes meet manufacturer anchoring standards or Oklahoma Used Motor Vehicle and Parts Commission standards.

• Individual mobile or manufactured home owners renting lots in parks must also ensure their homes meet the same anchoring standards starting January 1, 2014.

• Defines "mobile home park," "mobile home," and "manufactured home" for purposes of the law, including reference to National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974.

• Effective date is November 1, 2012.
