Creates the Oklahoma Physical Activity and Academic Performance Task Force, effective until June 30, 2013, to address decreased physical activity and its link to academic performance in schools.

Task Force shall consist of 11 members: the State Superintendent of Public Instruction (or designee), 4 members appointed by the Governor, 3 House members appointed by the Speaker, and 3 Senate members appointed by the President Pro Tempore.

Tasked with identifying opportunities to improve student health and academic performance through physical activity integration in curriculum, professional teacher development, and outdoor-based educational experiences.

Task Force must submit a report by June 30, 2013, to the Governor, President Pro Tempore, and House Speaker with findings and recommendations for necessary statutory or regulatory changes.

Becomes effective July 1, 2012, with an emergency clause allowing immediate implementation upon passage and approval.
