Amends 70 O.S. 2011, Section 1-116.3 to allow school districts to amend policies regarding self-administration of asthma and anaphylaxis medications by students.

Permits school nurses or trained school employees to administer Epinephrine injectors to students experiencing anaphylaxis without a health care provider order, with liability protection for school districts and employees.

Allows licensed physicians to write prescriptions for Epinephrine injectors to be maintained at school sites, with each school maintaining a minimum of two injectors in a secure location.

Requires school districts to inform parents in writing about the school's ability to administer emergency medications and maintain liability protections for the school.

Effective November 1, 2012.
