• Amends 51 O.S. 2011, Section 24A.28 to allow the Department of Environmental Quality to keep confidential records containing information about radiation sources in significant quantities as determined by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

• Confidential radiation information may include location details, security measures, inventory data, vulnerability assessments, safety equipment locations, emergency response plans, and other information that could be useful to persons with malevolent intent.

• Exempts radiation information from public records disclosure when such disclosure could reasonably increase the likelihood of theft, diversion, or sabotage of radiation sources or facilities.

• Declares an emergency, making the act effective immediately upon passage and approval.
