HB 2984 Summary

• Amends 36 O.S. 2011, Section 1204 to modify the definition of prohibited inducements in insurance transactions.

• Increases the maximum aggregate value of prizes, goods, wares, merchandise, or tangible property that may be offered as inducements from $25.00 to $100.00.

• Maintains existing prohibitions on other types of inducements including employment, stock shares, advisory board contracts, and special payment method advantages.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2012.
