• Amends 70 O.S. 2011, Section 24-117 to require school boards to provide safety goggles approved by the National Safety Council for all personnel using materials and machines that may cause vision damage.

• Changes the language from "such" to "the" when referring to personnel whose vision could be damaged by flying particles, intense light, severe heat, or other harmful effects.

• Effective date: November 1, 2012.
