Amends grounds for dismissal of school administrators, teachers, and support employees to include conduct constituting criminal sexual activity or sexual misconduct that impedes job performance.

Expands definition of "sexual misconduct" to include any sexual relationship with a student regardless of age, intimate communications, and conduct directed toward establishing a sexual relationship.

Requires school districts to release findings of sexual misconduct to any other school district requesting the information within 5 business days.

Mandates school boards adopt policies governing appropriate teacher-student and teacher-staff communication, including guidelines for oral/nonverbal communication and appropriate use of electronic media and social media.

Effective date: November 1, 2012.
