• Legislature directs Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education to establish a dyslexia teacher training pilot program at one or more state higher education institutions.

• Participating institutions must provide training programs for kindergarten through fourth-grade teachers on dyslexia indicators and multisensory structured language instruction methods.

• Teacher candidates in elementary, early childhood education, or special education programs must receive incorporated instruction on dyslexia identification and evidence-based teaching approaches.

• State Regents shall establish program guidelines and procedures; participating institutions must submit annual reports on program operation and results.

• State Regents shall submit a comprehensive report to the Governor and legislature by December 31 of the third year evaluating pilot program results and providing legislative recommendations.
