OK HJR1021

Proposes constitutional amendment to reduce Oklahoma House of Representatives from 101 to 93 districts and Oklahoma State Senate from 48 to 45 districts, effective with the 55th Legislature in 2015.

Requires all legislative districts to comply with United States Constitution standards and applicable federal court decisions regarding district boundaries and population.

Repeals existing Sections 9A and 10A of Article X and adds new Section 10B to Article V of the Oklahoma Constitution.

Directs Secretary of State to refer the amendment to voters with specified ballot title explaining the reduction in legislative seats.

Requires Chief Clerk of House to file copies of the resolution with Secretary of State and Attorney General.
