• Amends 70 O.S. 2011, Section 14-103.3 to allow technology center schools to establish pilot programs increasing student participation in industry certification examinations and trade-specific licenses.

• Permits local technology center boards to adopt policies suitable for their districts regarding certification and licensure programs.

• Designates expenditure of public funds for direct costs of trade-specific industry certification examinations and licenses as a public purpose and authorized use of general funds.

• Effective date is July 1, 2012, with an emergency declaration for immediate implementation.
