Health benefit plans are prohibited from imposing higher copayments or coinsurance on patients for services rendered by licensed chiropractic physicians compared to primary care physicians for the same or similar diagnosed conditions

The prohibition applies even if different medical terminology or nomenclature is used to describe the same condition between chiropractic and allopathic/osteopathic providers

The bill would be codified as Section 6046 of Title 36 of the Oklahoma Statutes
