SB1090 Summary

• Amends 74 O.S. 2011, Sections 3905 and 3906 to modify lists of statutory entities scheduled for termination under Oklahoma's Sunset Law.

• Terminates 14 entities on July 1, 2014 (including Professional Engineers Board, Accountancy Board, Funeral Board, and others) and 13 entities on July 1, 2015 (including Athletic Commission, Osteopathic Examiners Board, and others).

• Creates new Section 3908.1 of Title 74 establishing a third group of 13 entities to be terminated July 1, 2016, including the Oklahoma Oilseed Commission, various licensing boards, and regulatory agencies.

• Extends termination date for Oklahoma Oilseed Commission from June 1, 2012 to June 1, 2013 by amending 2 O.S. 2011, Section 18-272.

• Declares an emergency, making the act effective immediately upon passage and approval.
