SB 1254 Summary

• Amends 68 O.S. 2011, Section 2105 to add a new exemption (subsection 17) to the vehicle excise tax for used utility vehicles that are traded in as part of a purchase transaction.

• The exemption applies only when a used utility vehicle is traded in to a person or entity operating as a business that sells utility vehicles in Oklahoma but is not licensed as a dealer of used motor vehicles, travel trailers, or commercial trailers.

• Makes the effective date November 1, 2012.
