SB1289 Summary

• Amends 82 O.S. 2011, Section 105.4 regarding the diversion of water from natural or artificial watercourses

• Clarifies that the Oklahoma Water Resources Board oversees allowances for losses when water is reclaimed and diverted by entitled parties

• Applies to water turned into any watercourse by parties with legal rights to use such water, subject to existing rights

• Becomes effective November 1, 2012
