Amends 51 O.S. 2011, Section 155 of the Governmental Tort Claims Act to add a new exemption from liability for states and political subdivisions.

Adds exemption 36: Use of a public facility opened to the general public during an emergency.

States and political subdivisions are not liable for losses or claims resulting from the use of public facilities during emergencies when those facilities are open to the general public.

Effective date: November 1, 2012.
