SB 1373 Summary

• Amends 36 O.S. 2011, Section 109 of the Oklahoma Insurance Code to clarify terminology regarding who may conduct insurance business in the state.

• Changes reference from "Oklahoma" to "this state" and from "this" Code to "the Oklahoma Insurance Code" for clarification purposes.

• Requires that any person transacting insurance business must comply with applicable provisions of the Oklahoma Insurance Code.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2012.
