SB 1442 Summary

• Amends 70 O.S. 2011, Section 5-106 relating to school district governance and superintendent duties.

• Changes reference from "Section 4" to "Section 5-106A" and corrects terminology from "act" to "title" in provisions allowing multiple school districts to contract with a shared superintendent.

• Clarifies that boards of school districts with fewer than 500 average daily membership pupils may permit a superintendent to simultaneously serve as principal.

• Becomes effective November 1, 2011.
