SB 1504 Summary

• Amends 40 O.S. 2011, Section 4-508 to allow Oklahoma Employment Security Commission to release confidential employment information to judgment creditors upon court order.

• Court must issue a written order authorizing release of employment records to the extent necessary for a judgment creditor to collect on a judgment.

• Maintains existing confidentiality protections for employment information while creating a narrow exception for judgment collection purposes.

• Requires minimum 20-day notice period for the Commission to produce documents in response to subpoenas or court orders.

• Effective November 1, 2012.
