SB 1508 Summary

• Amends 19 O.S. 2011, Section 220 regarding the Court Clerk's Revolving Fund to change responsibility for developing forms and procedures from the State Auditor and Inspector to the Administrative Office of the Courts.

• Removes automatic appropriation language, clarifying that monies in the fund "shall be expended" by the court clerk rather than are "appropriated and shall be expended."

• Maintains the existing structure of the revolving fund for federal grants and other designated monies to support court clerk office operations with approval from district or associate district judges.

• Preserves the 10% administrative fee on court clerk-collected fees for agencies other than the court, with specified exceptions for sheriff service fees, law library funds, witness fees, and dispute resolution fees.

• Effective November 1, 2012.
