Amends 43A O.S. 2001, Section 2-214 regarding training schools within the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

Changes gender-specific pronouns ("he," "him," "his") to gender-neutral language ("the person," "such person") in contract requirements for trained employees.

Requires employees or prospective employees receiving training, salary, or tuition assistance to sign a contract agreeing to work for the Department for a period equivalent to their training duration.

Establishes that employees who fail to meet the employment requirement must reimburse the Department for amounts paid or spent on their behalf during training.

Effective date: November 1, 2012.
