SB1823 Summary

• Amends 63 O.S. 2011, Section 5030.4A regarding the Oklahoma Health Care Authority's study of disease state management programs.

• Modifies reporting requirements to mandate progress reports submitted on or before December 31 of each year to the Governor, President Pro Tempore of the Senate, and Speaker of the House of Representatives (removes previous requirement for final report by December 1, 2002).

• Maintains existing study components including assessment of asthma disease state management pilot program, health maintenance organization programs, Medicaid fee-for-service adaptability, vendor overview, state education employee program assessment, and pharmaceutical savings data.

• Takes effect November 1, 2012.
