SB1826 Summary

• Amends 70 O.S. 2011, Section 5-106 relating to the governing boards and executive officers of school districts

• Clarifies that the governing board of each school district shall be known as the "board of education"

• Corrects a statutory reference in subsection C from "Section 4" to "Section 5-106A" regarding multiple districts contracting with one superintendent

• Changes terminology in the same subsection from "act" to "title" for proper statutory citation

• Effective November 1, 2012
