SB 1857 Summary

• Amends 37 O.S. 2011, Section 516 regarding advertising of alcoholic beverages in Oklahoma

• Allows licensed package stores to display one retail sign with the words "Retail Alcoholic Liquor Store" or substantially similar wording

• Restricts sign specifications to letters no more than 4 inches in height and 3 inches in width, with lines spaced at least 1 inch apart

• Maintains prohibition on all other advertising of alcoholic beverages or their sale throughout Oklahoma

• Effective date: November 1, 2012
