Amends 21 O.S. 2011, Section 1279 regarding the crime of pointing a firearm at another person.

Clarifies that the reference to concealed handgun license requirements should refer to "Section 1290.1 et seq. of this title" instead of "Sections 1 through 25 of this act."

Maintains existing prohibition on pointing any pistol or deadly weapon at another person except in self-defense, with misdemeanor penalties.

Preserves provision allowing administrative violations for concealed handgun license holders convicted of violating the pointing statute.

Becomes effective November 1, 2012.
