• Amends 63 O.S. 2011, Section 1-1115 relating to food safety inspections and the State Commissioner of Health's authority

• Changes gender-specific language ("his") to gender-neutral language ("the Commissioner's") throughout the statute

• Grants the Commissioner or authorized agent free access to food manufacturing, processing, and storage facilities to inspect for violations of food safety provisions

• Authorizes the Commissioner to secure food samples or specimens for examination to determine compliance with food safety laws

• Effective date: November 1, 2012
