SB 1982 Summary

• Amends 74 O.S. 2011, Section 3601.2 regarding chief executive officer (CEO) salaries for Oklahoma state agencies, boards, commissions, departments, and programs

• Updates the effective date for CEO salary ranges from January 1, 2010 to January 1, 2012

• Establishes minimum, midpoint, and maximum annual salary ranges for various state executive positions (ranging from approximately $38,000 to $137,000 depending on position)

• Maintains restrictions on salary increases: officers below minimum can only be raised to minimum in one fiscal year; those at or above minimum cannot exceed midpoint in one fiscal year; salary increases limited to once per fiscal year

• Changes statutory reference from "Nursing Home" to "Long-Term Care" Administrators and becomes effective September 1, 2012
