SB1991 Summary

• Amends 10 O.S. 2011, Section 601.3 to expand the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth's powers and duties

• Adds requirement for the Commission to establish services for children of incarcerated parents, including coordinating research, collecting data, creating a resource clearinghouse, developing an educational toolkit, and coordinating an advisory committee

• Repeals 10 O.S. 2011, Sections 630.1, 630.2, and 630.3 relating to the Coordinated Database System for Children Act

• Effective July 1, 2012, with an emergency clause for immediate effect upon passage and approval
