SB395 Summary

• Amends Section 24 of the law governing flag displays at the south plaza entrance to the State Capitol Building

• Requires the Honor and Remember flag to be displayed under the United States flag upon notification of the death of an Oklahoma resident member of the Armed Forces, National Guard, or Armed Forces Reserve killed in combat or dying from combat wounds

• Specifies that the Honor and Remember flag remains below the U.S. flag while the U.S. flag is at half-mast

• Becomes effective November 1, 2011
