• Restricts initial audits to no more than 75 prescriptions and prohibits audits during the first seven calendar days of each month unless agreed otherwise.

• Prohibits recoupment of funds for clerical or record-keeping errors (typographical, scrivener's, or computer errors) unless the auditing entity proves intent to commit fraud or actual financial harm.

• Reduces preliminary audit report deadline from 120 to 90 days, final report deadline from six months to 120 days, and prohibits interest accrual during audit and appeal periods.
