Amends Oklahoma's discovery procedure laws (12 O.S. 2011, Section 3226) to strengthen protections for trial preparation materials prepared by attorneys, consultants, sureties, indemnitors, insurers, or agents

Establishes that trial preparation materials can only be discovered if they are otherwise discoverable AND the requesting party demonstrates substantial need and inability to obtain equivalent information without undue hardship

Extends work product protection to communications between a party's attorney and retained expert witnesses, except for communications about compensation, facts/data provided for forming opinions, or assumptions relied upon for opinions

Allows parties and non-parties to obtain their own previous statements about the action without meeting the substantial need requirement
