Legislature approves permanent rules at OAC 252:627 and OAC 252:656 adopted by the Environmental Quality Board on February 24, 2012.

Rules establishing or increasing fees require legislative approval by joint resolution per Section 308 of Title 75 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

If the Legislature fails to approve a fee-related rule by the last day of the legislative session, the rule is deemed disapproved.

Secretary of State must distribute copies of the resolution to the Governor, Department of Environmental Quality, and "The Oklahoma Register" for publication.

Resolution confirms that the permanent rules reflect the intent of the Oklahoma Legislature under the Environmental Quality Code provisions.
