OK HB1351

Amends 47 O.S. 2011, Sections 1135.3 and 1135.5 to authorize two new special license plates: Deer Creek Schools Foundation License Plate and Lupus Awareness and Education License Plate.

Creates the Deer Creek Schools Foundation License Plate Revolving Fund to receive $20 of the $35 fee, with funds used by the State Department of Education to provide grants to Deer Creek Schools Foundation for academic and artistic achievement programs.

Creates the Oklahoma Lupus License Plate Revolving Fund to receive $25 of the $35 fee, administered by the State Department of Health to provide grants to the Lupus Foundation of Oklahoma for lupus awareness, education, outreach, referral, research, and treatment.

Specifies that $8 of the $35 fee goes to the Oklahoma Tax Commission Reimbursement Fund for vehicle license administration, with remaining amounts apportioned per Section 1104 of Title 47.

Effective date is November 1, 2013.
