HB 1541 Summary

• Amends Oklahoma Milk and Milk Products Act (2 O.S. 2011, Section 7-414) to allow incidental farm sales of raw milk

• Permits direct delivery of raw milk by farm producers to consumers' residences, provided the milk-producing facility is Grade A certified

• Requires unpasteurized raw milk to be clearly labeled as "unpasteurized raw milk" by the producer

• Maintains existing exemptions for direct-to-consumer sales at the farm and advertising/selling of incidental goat milk (limited to 100 gallons per month average)

• Becomes effective November 1, 2013
