HB 1549 Summary

• Creates the "Medicaid and Human Services Accountability and Prevention of Federal Overreach Act"

• Amends 75 O.S. 2011, Section 308 (Administrative Procedures Act) to require legislative review and approval of certain rules before they take effect

• Rules establishing or increasing fees, or rules from Title 59 agencies, Oklahoma Health Care Authority, or Department of Human Services now require approval by joint resolution from the Legislature

• If the Legislature fails to approve such rules by the last day of the legislative session, the rules are automatically deemed disapproved

• Effective date: November 1, 2013
