• Re-creates the State Accrediting Agency under the Oklahoma Sunset Law with an extended termination date of July 1, 2017 (previously set to expire July 1, 2013)

• Agency composition includes the State Superintendent of Public Instruction (or designee), State Director of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education (or designee), Chancellor of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (or designee), and two honorably discharged war veterans appointed by the Governor

• Designates the agency as the "state approving agency" under the Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act of 1952 (Public Law 550) and authorizes it to contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

• Grants authority to approve courses in on-the-job training, apprenticeships, institutional on-farm training, and other veterans' educational and training programs authorized by federal law

• Validates and continues all existing contracts previously made by the State Accrediting Agency
