HB 1770 Summary

• Amends eligibility requirements for the Oklahoma Higher Learning Access Program by allowing two complete years of vocational-technical programs to count toward the foreign language or technology course requirement if the program participates in a college alliance agreement and results in an approved industry-recognized license

• Maintains all other existing eligibility criteria including residency, citizenship, high school graduation within three years with minimum 2.5 GPA, ACT score requirements for non-accredited schools, and satisfactory academic compliance

• Becomes effective July 1, 2013, with an emergency declaration for immediate implementation
