HB1867 Summary

• Department of Human Services must ensure entities providing residential services, day services, day habilitation, or vocational services to former residents of Northern Oklahoma Resource Center (Enid) or Southern Oklahoma Resource Center (Pauls Valley) are assessed annually by the Quality Assurance Unit of the Developmental Disabilities Services Division.

• Assessed entities must comply with contract and policy expectations through performance review processes and complete each fiscal year with no outstanding noncompliance issues.

• Compliance standards include individual plan implementation, medication administration, staff training, employment background checks, and incident reporting including maltreatment reporting.

• All providers must participate in Oklahoma-Advocates Involved in Monitoring (OK AIM) assessments and other quality assurance initiatives of the Developmental Disabilities Services Division.

• Effective date: November 1, 2013.
