HB 2019 Summary

• Directs the Oklahoma Department of Corrections to establish an employee bonus program for all corrections department employees

• Requires employees to have at least one continuous year of full-time employment to be eligible; breaks in service of 30 days or less do not interrupt continuous service

• Establishes a tiered bonus pay schedule ranging from $200 for one year of service to $750 for 12 or more years of service

• Bonus payments do not replace or limit existing longevity pay under Oklahoma Statutes Title 74, Section 840-2.18 or other employee incentive programs

• Effective date: November 1, 2013
