HB 2242 Summary

• Amends Section 6-212.4 of Title 47 (motor vehicle laws) to expand eligibility for driving privilege restoration after revocation or suspension

• Persons who successfully complete or graduate from an Oklahoma Community Service Sentencing Program OR an Oklahoma Drug Court Program can have their suspension/revocation period considered served

• Waiver applies only to Class D driving privileges and does not guarantee restoration if the person is otherwise ineligible

• Court clerk must electronically notify the Department of Public Safety of successful program completion; notification method must comply with existing requirements under Title 47

• Effective date: November 1, 2013
