House Resolution 1004 Summary

• Establishes the daily order of business for the House of Representatives during the First Session of the 54th Oklahoma Legislature, as required by House Rule 7.23

• Daily order includes: Roll Call; Prayer; Inspirational Message by Chaplain (Thursday mornings); Introduction of Veteran of the Week (Monday mornings); Pledge of Allegiance (Monday mornings); Introduction of Doctor/Nurse of the Day; Journal Correction; and consideration of bills and resolutions

• House and Senate Bills and Joint Resolutions proceed on Second Reading, with timing discretion left to the Majority Floor Leader

• Bills and Resolutions may be assigned or reassigned, considered on the Consent Calendar, or scheduled by the House Calendar Committee

• Motions to place new business before the House are scheduled by the Majority Floor Leader at their discretion on the same legislative day
