Enrolled Senate Bill No. 1128 Summary

• Appropriates $190,000,000 total to the State Board of Career and Technology Education for fiscal year ending June 30, 2014, distributed across six budget categories: Workforce and Economic Development ($12.5M), Career, College and Citizen Readiness ($140M), Statewide Services ($22.5M), Dropout Recovery/Youthful Offender/Skills Centers ($8M), Administration ($3.25M), and ISD/Data Processing ($3.75M).

• Requires the State Board to develop outcome-based performance measures for each budget category.

• Authorizes the Board to set employee duties and compensation as necessary for the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.
