Virtual education providers offering full-time virtual education to non-resident students shall be considered a site within each contracted school district and subject to the state accountability system under Section 1210.545.

Virtual education providers and their contracted school districts must identify students who are full-time virtual students living outside the district's physical boundaries.

Districts and providers must submit detailed performance data on non-resident full-time virtual students to the State Department of Education as necessary.

The act becomes effective July 1, 2013, with an emergency clause allowing immediate effect upon passage and approval.
