Amends Oklahoma's protective and emergency custody procedures for deprived children under 10A O.S. 2011, Section 1-4-202

Extends the deadline for filing a petition for deprived child proceedings from five (5) judicial days to seven (7) judicial days from the date the child is taken into custody

Court may still grant an additional extension of up to fifteen (15) calendar days from the custody date if the district attorney demonstrates compelling reasons at the emergency custody hearing

If no petition is filed within the required timeframe, the emergency custody order expires and the district attorney must document why the petition was not filed and to whom the child was released

Declared an emergency measure, meaning the act takes effect immediately upon passage and approval rather than following the standard effective date
