Senate Bill 276 Summary

• Amends 26 O.S. 2011, Section 14-110.1 to modify procedures for absentee ballot applications by physically incapacitated voters or those caring for incapacitated persons

• Allows absentee ballot applications to be submitted by mail, facsimile, or in person at the county election board office through a voter-designated agent

• Requires agents to be at least 16 years old and prohibits agents who are employed by or related within the third degree of consanguinity or affinity to any candidate on the ballot

• Limits each agent to representing only one voter per election

• Declares an emergency, making the act effective immediately upon passage and approval
