SB 292 Summary

• Requires county treasurers to provide the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) with a list of properties scheduled for tax resale in their respective counties

• Directs OHCA to produce and maintain a list of properties in each county on which OHCA holds liens, and county treasurers must make this list available to potential buyers at tax resales

• Authorizes OHCA to file a release of liens on properties meeting the definition of "blighted property" under 11 O.S. Section 38-101 upon request of the county treasurer, though this does not extinguish OHCA's debt claim

• Effective date is November 1, 2013
